Donation from MTTRF
In 2009, the MTTRF (Machine Tool Technologies Research Foundation), a foundation in the US, loaned a 5-axes machine tool NMV 5000 DCG from Mori Seiki to the Institute for Machine Tools and Manufacturing (IWF) at ETH Zurich. This machine has to be used for research and education. The loan agreement will be annually renewed. The MTTRF is active worldwide and today, they loaned machines to 5 European, 6 North American, and 6 Asian universities.
